I have finished university and while looking for jobs I find time for photography. I bought my first DSLR in 2007 as a spontaneous investment before a road trip in New Zealand as my old camera broke on the first day of the trip. Of course I had to learn to use the manual function and it took a while, but what an investment!
I started out with an inherited Olympus AF-1 (http://www.olympus-global.com/en/corc/history/camera/popup/auto_af1.cfm) that I loved and hated. I was very young, but quickly saw that the automated flash was a major problem and found myself holding the hand in front of it.. Still, the camera lasted until 2004 where I got my first digital camera (Fujifilm Finepix S5000).
I have taken a short portrait photography class as the only education. Other than that I find inspiration in other photos and learn from friends, webpages, books and of course trial-and-error.
This blog is for some of my photos that I am either very pleased with or uncertain about and need comments for. I started the blog quite a few years ago and I believe that I can see a progress in my photography skills from the first pictures to the latest. And so I keep the first ones even though I now see that they aren't necessarily very good.
So enjoy my photos and please leave comments if you wish.
